theCompass Craft Beverage Finder Mobile Application displays wineries, breweries, cider houses, and distilleries for North America. Establishments can be mapped using a radius search of the device’s location or by the establishment name, city, or zipcode. Users can also browse establishments by state for the United States or by province for Canada. All results can be filtered by industry type (winery, brewery, distillery, or cidery).
The Location Search view displays the establishments found within a certain radius of the device. The default radius is 25 miles and can be changed in the Settings view. The Location Search view displays the establishments in separate List and Map views and each can be filtered by industry.
The Search by Zipcode or Name view allows users to search for establishments by zip-code, city name and with the Android and Amazon appreciations, by establishment name. The view displays the establishments in separate List and Map views and each can be filtered by industry.
The Android, iPhone, and Amazon versions are all ($.99).
NOTE: theCompass is not yet available for the iPhone 11 iOS and iPhones 5S and greater.
